Where can I ask a home solar panel question?

A solar photovoltaic discussion community covering residential and larger systems — with strict anti-spam, no-lead-gen and image-hosting rules.

Solar sizing, installers and production questions fit r/solar’s photovoltaic scope. Lead generation, affiliate pitches and new low-karma accounts are actively filtered. This is peer discussion, not a utility interconnection approval.

Before you post

  • Include location, utility context, roof type and whether you already have quotes.
  • Do not use the room to generate leads for your solar company — that is explicitly banned.
  • Battery/backup electrical work may also need the electrician where-to-post page for code-oriented questions.
