Where can I get handwriting feedback or practice tips?

A handwriting improvement community for sharing practice and getting encouraging critique — not a transcription or signature-ID service.

If you want to improve penmanship, r/Handwriting is built for sharing practice and discussion. It is not the place to ask “what does this say?” or to identify a stranger’s signature.

Where to ask

r/Handwriting

Best for: Improving, sharing and discussing your own handwriting with encouraging feedback.

Why it fits: Its public description: “A place for redditors to improve, share, and discuss their handwriting.”

Rules to know before posting:

  • Keep your comments encouraging. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
  • Follow the [Submission Guidelines](https://www.reddit.com/r/Handwriting/wiki/index/submission_guidelines/).
  • Select a flair most appropriate for your post so that the conversation can get started on the right foot.
  • Do not request transcriptions of documents. "What does this say?", "Can anyone read this?", "Who's signature is this?" type posts are not allowed.

Before you post

  • Follow the room’s submission guidelines and flair so people know whether you want critique or are just sharing.
  • Transcription and “whose signature is this?” requests are disallowed there — use a translation or handwriting-specialist service offline if you need that.
  • Keep comments encouraging; harsh teardown posts miss the point of the room.
