Where can I get honest feedback on my writing?

A critique-exchange community for fiction and prose.

r/DestructiveReaders gives detailed, blunt critique, and asks you to critique others before you post your own work.

Where to ask

r/DestructiveReaders

Best for: Thorough critique of a story or chapter.

Why it fits: Its public description: “Writing Feedback: we will tell you the good, the bad, the ugly, and the horrible of your writing.”

Rules to know before posting:

  • Critique others first (its 1:1 requirement), and link those critiques in your post.
  • Titles start with the word count in brackets.
  • 48 hours between posts.
  • Critiques must be written by a human; the rules say it works best on old Reddit.
