Where can I ask a food allergy question?

A food-allergy peer community for lived-experience questions and allergen-free cooking talk — with bans on dubious alternative therapies and survey spam.

Food allergy management questions often need peer tips on labeling, travel and recipes. r/FoodAllergies is framed for that shared experience. It is not an emergency service and it rejects pseudoscientific treatment pitches.

Before you post

  • For anaphylaxis or a reaction in progress, use emergency services — do not wait on Reddit.
  • Diagnosis and medication changes belong with an allergist; peers share experience, not prescriptions.
  • Broader non-food allergy chat may fit general allergy communities — still not clinical care.
