r/GiftCardDeals is restricted. When we checked on 7 November 2026, Reddit allowed anyone to view the empty community but only approved users could contribute. We know of no official successor and saw no active deal feed there. The open communities below still cover retailer discounts, coupon codes, freebies and separately peer gift-card trading — with very different risk profiles. Read each community's rules before posting.

Communities to try instead

Checked 2026-11-07 · Current rules
Good for: Promo and coupon codes that stack with gift-card or store purchases.
Access: open

Good for: Saving strategies and stock-up planning when you want advice on whether a gift-card deal is actually worth it.
Access: open
Rules to know: Explain how a tip or haul is frugal. Be civil about different budgets and locations.
Checked 2026-11-07 · Current rules
Good for: Peer-to-peer gift-card trading at posted rates — a different activity from browsing store gift-card deals.

Looks similar, but not a fit
- r/Wishlist — Private gifting community — not a gift-card discount board (see its own SubMouse alternatives page). (checked 2026-11-07)
Restricted means visitors can see the page but cannot post unless approved — here the feed was empty when checked. Peer gift-card trading is not the same as a deals alert board and carries scam risk. None of these communities is an official successor. Statuses come from the live community page on the check date; Reddit can lift or change a ban at any time. Updated 2026-11-07.
