Help after an Instagram or Meta account is disabled · Status when checked: Banned (2026-11-07)

r/InstagramDisabledHelp is banned. When we checked on 7 November 2026, Reddit showed “This community was banned for being unmoderated.” Community posts from November 2025 described the ban after moderator turmoil and scam-recovery spam. We know of no official successor. The communities below still discuss disabled Instagram or Meta accounts. None of them can guarantee a reinstatement, and recovery-service pitches are usually scams. Read each community’s rules before posting.

Looks similar, but not a fit

  • r/Instagram — General Instagram discussion. Its rules disallow ban/unban and verification-style requests, so it is a poor place for disabled-account recovery threads. (checked 2026-11-07)
  • r/InstagramMarketing — Growth and marketing tactics for Instagram pages, not help recovering a disabled personal or business account. (checked 2026-11-07)

Nobody on Reddit can force Meta to restore an account. Paid “recovery” offers are usually scams. None of these communities is an official replacement, and a post may still be removed or get no replies. This is peer experience, not legal advice. Statuses come from the live community page on the check date; Reddit can lift or change a ban at any time. Updated 2026-11-07.
