Deal or No Deal Island (NBC reality competition) episode discussion · Status when checked: Banned (2026-11-07)

r/DealOrNoDealIsland is banned. When we checked on 7 November 2026, Reddit showed that the subreddit was banned due to being used for spam. Fans had used it for episode discussion of NBC’s Deal or No Deal Island. We know of no official successor. A later community with a similar name was itself banned for a content-policy Rule 2 violation, so it is not listed as a destination. The open options below cover reality TV, game shows or NBC programming more broadly. Read each community’s rules before posting.

r/BigBrother

Good for: Long-running US reality competition community — similar live-discussion energy even though the show is different.

r/nbc

Good for: NBC network discussion — where some viewers asked what happened after the DONDI subreddit disappeared.

Access: open

Rules to know: Stay relevant to NBC shows and network topics. Low traffic compared with dedicated reality communities; do not treat it as a full episode-discussion replacement.

Looks similar, but not a fit

  • r/PlayDealOrNoDealIslan — Also banned (Rule 2) when checked on 7 November 2026 — not a usable destination. (checked 2026-11-07)
  • r/DealOrNoDeal — Private (approved members only) when checked on 7 November 2026 — and aimed at the classic Deal or No Deal format, not the Island series. (checked 2026-11-07)
  • r/Traitors — Open, but it is for Netflix’s period spy drama Traitors — not Deal or No Deal Island and not the Peacock/BBC reality franchise. (checked 2026-11-07)

Spam bans mean the old community is not available for takeover the way a simple unmoderated ban sometimes is. None of these boards is an official DONDI clubhouse, and episode spoilers are common — read spoiler rules first. Statuses come from the live community page on the check date; Reddit can lift or change a ban at any time. Updated 2026-11-07.
