Mind-blowingly interesting images, clips and facts · Status when checked: Private (2026-11-07)
r/InterestingAF is private. When we checked on 7 November 2026, Reddit showed that only approved members can view it. The public description framed it as a place for mind-blowingly interesting things worth sharing. We know of no official successor. Larger open communities below still host interesting photos, clips and facts — with different bars for what counts as “interesting enough.” Read each community’s rules before posting.
Good for: Closest large open match for high-bar “interesting as fuck” content.
Access: open
Rules to know: Posts must be objectively interesting as fuck, not only personally neat. Titles must be descriptive and tied to the content. No porn or gore. No doxxing, witch-hunts or subreddit meta-drama. Provide a source when the title’s claim needs backing.

Good for: Original photographs of mildly interesting everyday finds — lower intensity than “mind-blowing,” but reliably active.
Access: open
Rules to know: Original non-animated photographs only (no gifs/videos/sites). You must have taken the photo. No heavy edits, arrows or overlaid text beyond privacy redaction. Titles and resubmission rules are strict — read them before posting.

Good for: Skill, scale or effort that looks next-level — better for impressive feats than quiet curiosities.
Access: open
Rules to know: Appropriate content only. No AI content. Use a descriptive title. Follow formatting and common-repost guidance. No advertising.

Good for: Clips with a real twist — use this when the interest is surprise, not a static fact.
Access: open
Rules to know: Needs an actual unexpected twist (not just a cool craft). No death/abuse, no minors in harmful contexts, no bad titles that spoil the outcome, and avoid recent reposts. Keep comments civil.
