Best Tabletop RPGs Subreddits (November 2026)

Most tabletop RPGs talk on Reddit happens in a few big places, but the smaller communities are where the specialists are. We checked the communities Reddit returns for “dnd” and “rpg”, kept the public, safe-for-work ones with at least 25,000 members that are still posting, and ranked the 5 that remain by size. Together they have 6.2M members.

How the tabletop RPGs communities compare

Membership is concentrated: the three largest communities hold 98% of all members on this list, so most of the tabletop RPGs conversation happens in a handful of places. Among the communities we track weekly, r/rpg grew fastest recently (+0.05%, +845 members since Oct 26). The oldest is r/rpg, founded in 2008, and every community here is more than five years old — this is a long-established corner of Reddit.
