Best Sneakers Subreddits (November 2026)

Most sneakers talk on Reddit happens in a few big places, but the smaller communities are where the specialists are. We checked the communities Reddit returns for “sneakers” and “sneakers”, kept the public, safe-for-work ones with at least 25,000 members that are still posting, and ranked the 6 that remain by size. Together they have 6.1M members.

How the sneakers communities compare

Membership is concentrated: the three largest communities hold 98% of all members on this list, so most of the sneakers conversation happens in a handful of places. r/Sneakers is both the biggest and the busiest, with about 60 new posts a day. Per member, the liveliest is r/SneakersIndia: 48 posts a day from 75.7K members — a smaller crowd, but an engaged one. The oldest is r/Sneakers, founded in 2009, and only one community here is younger than five years: r/SneakersIndia (2021).

Choosing where to post

r/Sneakers moves fastest, with about 60 new posts a day, so posts there get replies quickly but also slide off the front page within hours. There are regional communities too — r/SneakersIndia and r/SneakersCanada — which are the better choice for local prices, shops, events or rules.

Big subreddits give a post the widest audience, but they also bury it quickly; the mid-sized communities on this list are usually friendlier for questions and first posts. Always read the rules in the sidebar first — each community is run by its own volunteer moderators. Our guide to searching Reddit explains how to dig through any of these communities, and the subreddit info tool gives you the stats of one we don't list.
