Best Skincare Subreddits (October 2026)

If you're into skincare, Reddit has more than one home for you. We checked the communities Reddit returns for “skincare” and “skin care”, kept the public, safe-for-work ones with at least 25,000 members that are still posting, and ranked the 16 that remain by size. Together they have 16.3M members.

How the skincare communities compare

The three largest communities hold about 69% of the combined membership, but the rest of the list is far from empty — that is where most of the specialised discussion happens. r/SkincareAddiction is both the biggest and the busiest, with about 262 new posts a day. Per member, the liveliest is r/koreanskincare: 33 posts a day from 56K members — a smaller crowd, but an engaged one. Among the communities we track weekly, r/SkincareAddicts grew fastest recently (+0.14%, +1.7K members since Oct 19). The oldest is r/SkincareAddiction, founded in 2012; 4 of the 16 were started in the last five years, a sign the topic keeps splitting into new niches.

Choosing where to post

For beginner questions, r/SkincareAddicts is the natural first stop — it exists for advice, and roughly 93 new threads a day keep it moving. Asking the same thing in r/SkincareAddiction often gets it removed or lost among the 262 daily posts. Competition for attention differs a lot: r/AsianBeauty has 3.8M members but only about 24 new posts a day — roughly one new post for every 161.4K members — while r/SkincareAddiction gets about 262 a day, one for every 19.2K. A strong, well-made post therefore has more room to be seen in r/AsianBeauty; r/SkincareAddiction is better when you want quick replies. There are regional communities too — r/SkincareAddictionUK and r/IndianSkincareAddicts — which are the better choice for local prices, shops, events or rules. Rule sets vary: of the communities we have rules for, r/AsianBeauty lists 10, against 6 in r/30PlusSkinCare, so a post that is fine in one can be removed in another.

Before posting, sort a subreddit by “Top” for the past month: it shows in a minute what that community rewards. Always read the rules in the sidebar first — each community is run by its own volunteer moderators. Our guide to searching Reddit explains how to dig through any of these communities, and the subreddit info tool gives you the stats of one we don't list.
