Best Marvel Subreddits (November 2026)

Reddit's marvel scene is bigger than any single subreddit. We checked the communities Reddit returns for “marvel” and “marvel comics”, kept the public, safe-for-work ones with at least 25,000 members that are still posting, and ranked the 18 that remain by size. Together they have 19.9M members.

How the marvel communities compare

The three largest communities hold about 66% of the combined membership, but the rest of the list is far from empty — that is where most of the specialised discussion happens. Size and activity don't line up perfectly: r/marvelstudios has the most members, but r/marvelrivals gets the most new posts (about 204 a day, against 149 in r/marvelstudios). Per member, the liveliest is r/MarvelLegends: 96 posts a day from 70.5K members — a smaller crowd, but an engaged one. Among the communities we track weekly, r/comics grew fastest recently (+0.10%, +3.8K members since Oct 26). The oldest is r/comics, founded in 2008; 2 of the 18 were started in the last five years, a sign the topic keeps splitting into new niches.

Choosing where to post

Questions do best in r/ComicBookCollabs, the community on this list that is built around advice and help (around 31 posts a day). Asking the same thing in r/marvelstudios often gets it removed or lost among the 149 daily posts. Jokes and memes have their own homes in r/marvelmemes and r/dccomicscirclejerk; the serious communities tend to remove them, so keep the two apart.

Big subreddits give a post the widest audience, but they also bury it quickly; the mid-sized communities on this list are usually friendlier for questions and first posts. Always read the rules in the sidebar first — each community is run by its own volunteer moderators. Our guide to searching Reddit explains how to dig through any of these communities, and the subreddit info tool gives you the stats of one we don't list.
