About r/weddingshaming
In its own words:
A place to shame wedding themes, brides, grooms, wedding party, in-laws, outlaws, guests, Uncle Bob, vendors... you name it, we shame it! Please read the sub rules before posting.
Community guide
r/weddingshaming (#989, about 1.1 million) is for calling out wedding themes, bridal-party behaviour, guests and vendors—wedding conduct, not body, age or appearance shaming, and not a place to ask whether you were wrong.
What belongs
Stories and examples (about 5 posts/day). Rules ban advice or judgement-call posts, weekday AITA crossposts (those only Friday through Sunday), update or episodic series, name-calling between users, uncensored identifying details, doxxing, appearance shaming, discriminatory language, brigading, politics, karma or content farming, and ads; discussion flair has to be used properly.
Versus weddingplanning and JUSTNOMIL
weddingplanning is for organizing a wedding. JUSTNOMIL overlaps on family conflict but is not wedding-specific. This room is shame-the-wedding-behaviour, with a ban on asking the crowd to pick a side.
Practical pointers
Censor names and faces; don’t ask “AITA?” except in the allowed weekend window.
