About r/HollowKnight
In its own words:
We are a fan community for the Hollow Knight franchise, both are 2D adventure/Metroidvania games for the PC, Mac, Linux, Nintendo Switch (1&2), PlayStation 4&5 and Xbox One! The sequel, Hollow Knight: Silksong, released on 4 September, 2025!
Community guide
r/HollowKnight (#889, about 1.2 million) is the fan community for the Hollow Knight games (including Silksong)—discussion, art and help—with spoiler and meme-routing rules.
What belongs
Franchise discussion and fan content (about 84 posts/day). Collected rules: be respectful; no unmarked spoilers; spoiler-tag Silksong content; memes go to r/HollowKnightMemes; no referral links; source art; no NSFW/piracy; self-promo limits.
Versus HollowKnightMemes and platform hubs
Memes have a dedicated sibling. Broader platform lists (Switch, PlayStation) are not substitutes for boss help or lore questions—keep those here with spoiler discipline.
Practical pointers
Mark spoilers; send meme-only posts to the meme sub; credit art sources; do not post piracy.
